Q: What motivated you to play football?

A: “Anger. When you play football you get to release a lot of emotions out, so it helps me get some of those emotions; it’s like a stress reliever. So whenever you need space you can just play it and you feel a bit better.”

Q: How long have you played?

A: “I played for 4 years.”

Q: What position do you play and why did you chose it?

A: “Wide receiver because I’m fast and I wanted to be on offense so I could score.”

Q: What’s a motto that you stick to?

A: “Be yourself even if that’s what other people don’t want you to be.”

Q: Who inspired you to play?

A: “My stepdad. He taught me and got me used to playing it, [so it] grew on me as a sport [and] I like it now.”

Q: When did u realized that it was the sport for you?

A: “7. The first game I played I thought I was really good, so I keep playing and it was fun.”

Q: How will your future look in football?

A: “After high school I don’t plan on playing football because you have to be really good to get a scholarship, so I’m going to focus on school instead because I could probably make it farther than football.”

Q: When you win a game how does it feel?

A: “It feels great just to know that you and your teammates hard work paid off and your hard work and you get to see the other team not win. Also everyone cheers you on and it’s an amazing feeling.”
