Alexis was very disappointed to not be joining newspaper for the first semester of her senior year. She missed conducting the interviews and writing stories the most. She is looking forward to majoring in communications and journalism when she goes to college, and working on staff will get her prepared for what she wants to do. She was inspired when watching her favorite TV show “Being Mary Jane,” and admiring the main character’s job and lifestyle made Alexis want to be a news reporter.
