Q: How does it feel to get signed?

A: “It’s a pretty great feeling. Honestly, I mean I never thought I would actually get signed. It’s awesome.”

Q: What was the first thing you did when you heard you were getting signed?

A:I told my mom not be so loud because I was in the room with the coaches, and when I told her I was getting signed she was screaming and crying and praising God. I told her ‘OK, you gotta be quiet there are people outside.’ Then I started crying.”

Q: Why did you choose to sign at Lubbock Christian University?

A:When I got out of the car [during] my college visit my junior year, it felt like where I needed to be. It felt like home…it’s really hard to explain.”

Q: What goals are you hoping to achieve there?

A: “I’m hoping to get my degree of course. I want to figure out who I am and figure out God’s purpose for me.”

Q: What does this sport mean to you?

A: “It means everything to me. I mean it has been my life for the past 15 years.”

Q: When did you start playing and what kept you interested?

A: “I started playing soccer since I was three and I really don’t know what kept me interested. I was so little, but as long as I can remember I’ve always loved the game.”

Q: How did your family influence you in the college you picked?

A: “They really didn’t influence me too much. My uncle is a college professor at Lubbock and I have a lot of family out there, but my parents said wherever I want to go is up to me.”
