Everybody wants their prom to be like a scene out of a movie

Movies always give us an unrealistic expectation of things. When it comes to prom, it is not an exception. From fairytale endings to horror night nightmares, these are some of the best prom movie scenes.
Prom night is supposed to be the night ladies feel like princesses and this prom scene sets the bar for all the girls out there. Hilary Duff descending from the top of the stairs in her ballgown as Prince Charming longingly gazes at her has everyone swooning even to this day.
Hopefully prom night isn’t as dramatic as prom was in this movie, and hopefully you don’t have to resort to socking someone for their snide comments. Bottomline though, the fairytale ending that Bianca got in the end was totally worth the epic swing.
Everything is always better in pink, especially prom. This heart-wrenching scene nicely wraps up the movie as dirtbag Blane finally man’s up and apologizes to the lovely Andie, saving the day and giving the happy ever after ending.
Cady Harris definitely had a different approach to the stereotypical prom queen speech, especially considering the iconic breaking of the crown. You know though, it doesn’t matter whether you are nominated for prom royalty or not, all that matters is that you forget the labels, stay true to yourself and make the most of this special night.
Although it is argued that HSM3 is one of the worst HSM movies, the prom scene in this movie makes you go ‘awwww’ anytime you see it. Troy driving all the way from Albuquerque to Stanford just to be with Gabriella, the love of his life who he refuses to let go…Can we say #RelationshipGoals?
Can you imagine prom without music? It’s unimaginable. It’s a good thing this isn’t something we will have to worry about. Get your dancing shoes ready and cut footloose on prom right.
Prom night doesn’t always go as planned, and sometimes a night to remember is definitely one you won’t survive. But if you’re looking for a last minute accessory, a white prom dress always looks better covered in pigs blood.
If there was any possible way for prom to be substituted for Yule Ball I’m sure die hard Harry Potter fans would give anything for that to happen. Hopefully your night doesn’t end with someone who isn’t your prom date ruining your experience due to jealousy; don’t be a Ron, but also don’t let your Hermione go.
Let’s just say, this is exactly how you don’t want prom night to go.
You can make fun of the Twilight franchise all you want, because yes it is so easy to and everything about it is hilarious, but this scene just brings it back to middle school prom fantasies. From the soft glow of the pavilion lights to the gentle lull of the music in the background, it’s a perfect fantasy ending to a not so perfect fantasy story.
