Editor’s Note: Staff recommends is a series where each staffer will suggest certain things that we think our audience will like. Each ‘recommends’ will be written by a different staffer and will symbolize that staffer’s personality.

Rosati’s Pizza:

Eat great food at a great price

Do you ever want to order food for delivery but not have to meet the minimum delivery fee? Well look no further as Rosati’s Pizza will deliver any dish no matter how much you spend. The food is served in generous amounts rather than measuring out small portions.

DIONZE’S TIP: Order the chicken fettuccine alfredo pasta.

Coyote Drive-In:

Bringing the old feelings of drive-in theaters to the future

Coyote Drive-In is new to Lewisville and offers kid, dog and family friendly entertainment for you and your loved ones. They serve traditional theater food along with a twist of restaurant food including burgers and steaks, as well as a few vegan options.

DIONZE’S TIP: Try the double bacon burger.

“Waves” by Joey B:

Livin up your ears with a talented lyricist

DIONZE’S TIP: A song re-done by just about every lyrical rapper is a song that started off with the artist Joey B from the group Pro Era. The artist made the song “Waves” entirely about his past life of theft and poverty and how he managed to stay on the narrow path to success with so much negativity.

DIONZE’S TIP: Listen to Joey’s version, Kanye’s version and then J. Cole’s “False Prophets.”

Panera Bread:

Organic foods with variety

DIONZE’S TIP: Located off of 3040 next to Vista Ridge, Panera Bread has a selection of desserts and foods that are organic and taste delicious. They also serve gluten free and sugar free foods for those who need a healthy variety within their meals.

DIONZE’S TIP: Try the chocolate chip muffins or scones.

Vending machines:

Don’t shove when you can walk alone

During block lunch things get crazy as all lunch lines tend to fill up with the nerds, runners and early birds. Before you know it the vending machines near the cafeteria and gyms become long, so what do you do? I recommend the upstairs vending machines during block lunch because there are hardly ever any lines.

DIONZE’S TIP: Go early enough before the selection runs out.
