Vivica Juarez, Photo Editor
Vivica Juarez has been taking pictures since the moment she could hold a camera, so it only makes sense for her passion to be photography. The idea of capturing a significant memory through an image drives her to potentially continue her love throughout her future. As she enters her senior year as the photo editor, she plans to make every moment last.
Some memories that perfectly sum up Vivica’s life include watching The Walking Dead premiere with her closest friends on Valentine’s Day, witnessing her mother jam to the walk-up music of each player at the Rangers game, and attending an endless amount of concerts. Even with her abundance of random yet unforgettable times, she is excited to see what is to come of this year on the staff and her last year at the school.

Desiree Stuckey, Social Media Editor
Desiree Stuckey’s love for photography and journalism began when she was a small child being “chased by paparazzi.” She was constantly shocked by how her aunt could take hundreds of pictures in just a few hours. She didn’t know this yet, but ten years later, she would have her own camera and a memory card holding thousands of her own photos. Desiree is one of the most anti-social people you’ll ever meet, so it’s quite shocking to everyone that she acquired such a strong love for journalism. She has a permanent tint of red on her cheeks due to embarrassment, and she’s constantly stuttering over simple words. She’s on Twitter and Snapchat about 75% of the time, and complains about her clammyness 100% of the time. This is Desiree’s second year on the newspaper staff, and she can’t wait to see what’s in store for her as the social media editor.
