Senior prince Nick Long

Q: What homecoming tradition are you most excited for and why?

A: “I’m just excited for the whole week really. I’m going to dress up for the [spirit days] days, go to the football game, Thursday night yell and the dance, of course.”

Q: Have you always wanted to be on homecoming court? Why or why not?
A:
“As an underclassman, I didn’t really think about it. This year I was like ‘Why not run for it?’”

Q: How does it feel to be nominated as homecoming prince?
A:
“It’s an honor just knowing people voted for me to be on the court.”

Q: How did you get nominated for homecoming prince?
A:
“I turned in a form that had all my information and organizations I was involved in and then I was put on the ballot and elected. I nominated myself to see if I had a chance of winning. ”

Q: Who/what inspired you to get involved in homecoming?
A:
“Probably myself and my StuCo advisers because it’s a way to get involved with the school and the community.”

Q: Do you feel that this homecoming is different than previous years? Why or why not?
A:
“Obviously as a senior, it’s going to be a little different because it’s my last one. Just knowing that, but other than that, not really.”

Q: What do you like about the homecoming traditions?
A:
“I like how alumni come back and celebrate with us.”

Q: What do you like about this year’s homecoming theme?
A:
Disney is pretty cool. There’s a lot you could do with it, like a lot of ideas you could come up with for the parade.”
