Q: What homecoming tradition are you most excited for and why?

A: “I would say I’m most excited for the homecoming parade because I think it’s an opportunity for the community to get together and show all of our floats off and to just have fun.”

Q: How does it feel to be nominated as homecoming princess?
A: “It feels good because it shows that people actually think I deserve to be able to be homecoming princess, so I’m happy.”

Q: What made you want to be a part of the homecoming court?
A: “I realized it was my senior year so I was like might as well, what’s the point of not running for it.”

Q: Who nominated you? Why do you think they did?
A: “Sydnee Savage nominated me and I think she nominated me because we’ve grown really close. She’s one of the people who helped me win my Student Council election and I think maybe she thought ‘Brooke would be a good candidate.’”

Q: Who/what inspired you to get involved in homecoming?
A: “Mostly my adviser, Mrs. Stamey. She always tells us to have fun with anything [and] get involved.”

Q: Do you feel that this homecoming is different than previous years? Why or why not?
A: “Yeah because it’s our last homecoming. I think it’s going to be even more exciting and hyped up.”

Q: What do you like about the homecoming traditions?
A: “I like how it brings all three campuses together as one. We all get the chance to see each other get to know each other and just have fun together.”

Q: What do you like about this year’s homecoming theme?
A: “What I like [about] the theme is that it’s targeted toward younger kids, so I feel like the ninth and 10th [students] and all of our feeder schools get the chance to get more involved.”
