Q: What homecoming tradition are you most excited for and why?
A: “The homecoming tradition I’m most excited for would be getting announced at the homecoming football game.”
Q: Have you always wanted to be on homecoming court? Why or why not?
A: “I have because I won during my sophomore and junior year. I’m happy to be on the court again my senior year.”
Q: How does it feel to be nominated as homecoming princess?
A: “Honestly, it’s kind of crazy to think about because we have such a big student population for seniors and knowing I’m one of the winners out of five other girls means a lot to me.”
Q: What made you want to be a part of the homecoming court?
A: “I like having my name out there as a good role model for Lewisville High School and I also like being in the spotlight.”
Q: Have you been nominated in previous years? If so, what was that like?
A: “Yes, I’ve been nominated in the past. I remember being super excited because that was my first time being on the homecoming court. It was just a really amazing experience I knew I’d always want to try and have.”
Q: Who/what inspired you to get involved in homecoming?
A: “My mom really was the one that made me put my name out there and have fun in the last couple of years of high school.”
Q: Do you feel that this homecoming is different than previous years? Why or why not?
A: “Definitely because this is my last homecoming in high school which is very sad to think about, but that’s why I’m determined to make it more special than the rest.”
Q: What do you like about the homecoming traditions?
A: “I love a lot about homecoming traditions. I just love the community support, the school support and the spirit from everyone in the town. Lewisville has a really strong tradition and I love how we all come together as one.”
Q: What do you like about this year’s homecoming theme?
A: “I love it, I personally have always loved Disney growing up so it’s kind of letting me relive a little bit of my childhood.”
