English Teacher Blake Hollowell

“I think volunteering to benefit your community benefits everyone, including the volunteer. We are all struggling by ourselves whether we’d like to see each other as a family or not, we all rely on and are forced to live with everyone around us. The better we can make our community, the better we all live. I think it gives selfishly a good warm fuzzy feeling; it feels good to help other people. It feels good to do right by others. Not only does it benefit your community at large to say it makes you feel good as well as the knowledge that you’ve made someone else’s life a little easier.”
