Here’s a look at who’s nominated for king and queen. The winners will be announced during Friday’s game.
The 2015 homecoming king and queen will receive their sashes on Friday.
How did it feel when you found out you were nominated?
It felt good…being honored that someone actually thinks that I would deserve something like that felt really nice.

I was very excited because I’ve gotten nominated every year, but I haven’t won yet. This is like my second chance.

I felt very excited and happy. I was [on homecoming court] freshman year too, but just being on it senior year takes the cake.

What does it mean to you to be on homecoming court your senior year?
It’s a huge honor, and I love being a part of the school. I want to represent Lewisville to the best of my abilities.

What’s your favorite part of homecoming?
I’d definitely say the parade because the whole community gets together.

The parade is really fun. You get to throw candy and see old elementary and middle school teachers.

Going back to your freshman year, did you ever see yourself getting nominated your senior year?
Not at all. I was involved in Student Council, but I didn’t see myself as the ‘it’ girl.

I really wanted to because my sister was and my mom was, so I felt like I had to try. I didn’t know if it would actually happen, but I really wanted to.
