Club Spotlight: Pokemon and anime

Pokemon club

Pokemon club is a get-together held on Wednesday’s during A block. Students can come and watch episodes of Pokemon in Sonja Terrill’s classroom, G206. They often play Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon with each other.

“I think it’s a really awesome club because there’s people that play outside or in the cafeteria and people don’t really like when we do that, and this gives us [a place] to play and not be in anyone’s way and just have fun and enjoy it,” senior Gorgeous Taylor said.

Students discuss different topics of the Pokemon world with others and anyone is welcome to join.

Anime club

Anime club is a place where people can go to hang out with others alike and watch anime shows, play video games, draw and much more on Wednesday’s during B block in Jeremy Fee’s classroom, D123.

“Anime club is a good place to hang out and make new friends and bond over their taste in anime,” senior Michaela Henderson said.

Along with block lunch meetings, the club has an art contest for the club shirt design, and anyone is welcome to join in on the fun.
