Q: What college will you attend? What is your intended major? 

A: “I’m going to UTD for Computer Science.” 

Q: What extracurriculars have you been involved in throughout high school?

A: “I’m in soccer club, it’s fun. We play soccer during block lunch and swap teams when someone wins. It’s very tiring.”

Q: What was the most challenging aspect about balancing extracurriculars and academics? 

A: “I have to ensure I’m doing well in all aspects, not just getting one thing done but all of them.”

Q: What class was the most challenging for you? Why?

A: “AP calculus because it’s AP calculus. It’s an online class, so I have no physical teacher. I need to motivate myself and have time management.”

Q: Who has helped you the most throughout these last four years? How have they helped you? 

A: “Ms. Calixto because I’m new to the United States, and she helped me a lot. She made me feel welcomed to the United States and made her class engaging and easy to understand.”

Q: What has been the most memorable part of high school? 

A: “The robotics class. It’s fun to make robots, compete and watch other teams fail.”

Q: What advice would you give to your freshman self? 

A: “I didn’t technically do freshman year here, but I’d say keep on working hard and try not to stress.”

Q: What are you most excited about regarding college?

A: “Meeting all new friends.”

Q: Where do you hope to see yourself in 10 years?

A: “Having a small business and a small family.”

Q: What would you change about your high school experience?

A: “I would have been more social.”
