The baseball booster club will host its annual craft show fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 29 throughout the halls of the school. The fundraiser is one of the most important ones of the year with about 90 vendors who will participate.

“The craft show is a show that a bunch of people [bring their] products and they sell their products,” senior baseball player Ben Miller said.

Vendors purchase booths to sell their products. The booths cost between $65 to $75 depending on the size. The money made from the sales go directly to the vendors to pay for their booths and materials, and they also make general profit.

“It’s pretty successful; it’s our biggest fundraiser,” Miller said.

The fundraiser has taken place for 22 years now, and the baseball players help out every year.

“Our craft show is also unique in that the baseball players assist the vendors with helping them unload their merchandise from their vehicles and transport their merchandise to their booths,” craft show coordinator Tracy Miller said.

The show starts at 9 a.m. and shoppers may come and go throughout the day until 4. The players offer free coffee and food to the vendors as well as assist the vendors in breaking down their booths and transport the merchandise back to their vehicles.

“A bunch of stuff for the holidays and stuff for people’s homes like decorations will be sold,” Miller said.
