ROTC is hosting an In-N-Out truck on Friday, March 28 for fundraising. The truck will be parked outside the cafeteria during all lunches. You can purchase meal tickets that act as vouchers for the food truck. Tickets are $7 and purchasable from ROTC students or from the ROTC classroom.
Meals will include a cheeseburger, potato chips and a fountain drink. This year, ROTC is trying to make the event more secure, with newly added safety measures.
“This year is different, we are doing it on a full school day,” ROTC advisor Jason Gold said. “The truck will be outside the cafeteria. Nobody from off campus can come on campus to buy the meal.”
All ROTC students are tasked with selling 10 tickets and promoting the event, with students selling in different lunch periods.
“We go around all lunches and some classes to advertise the event,” Senior Brian Phan “It will get us to upsell our tickets.”
By putting this event together, Gold hopes it’ll act as a bonding experience for ROTC students.
“They are responsible for selling the tickets,” Gold said. “They are responsible for letting people know what they are buying.”
At the conclusion of this event, ROTC plans to use all the proceeds of this event to pay for ROTC related events and essentials.
“When we go on drill meets, it pays for food, entrance fees, water and all the gear we need such as boots and pants,” senior Bawi Ceu said. “The goal is to raise enough money so we can buy all the essentials we need for the meets.”
