 “Volunteering is important to me because it helps me not only get hours for my clubs, but also helps me get involved in the community. Whenever I volunteer, I get to meet new people every time and also get to see what I’m hoping for every time I’ve worked here. It makes me feel a little bit better because I see what I’m doing for the community and how much it makes other people feel better. We need a lot more help in our communities because a lot of stuff has changed. There’s inflation on everything. By helping to volunteer for the community, it helps not only serve the people that are struggling, but also helps you forget about the past. Whenever you volunteer, it’s just great to help as many people as you can for nothing in return.”
