After the success of 12 other DFW area locations of the burger chain, the newest addition has high expectations to live up to.
The gluten-sensitive restaurant is known for offering more than just regular beef patties, with options including deer, elk and bear available at various times of the year. The all-American burger is a good starter for new customers. It comes with double American cheese and bacon. For those who are specific with their burgers, an option to build a burger to one’s preference exists as well. Twisted Root offers a variety of salads and veggie burgers, giving customers many different options. The restaurant provides its own pickle bar with a variety of flavors including atomic, ranch and dill.
Ordering the food is an experience in itself. The outgoing personalities of employees and Scotch tape name tags help round out a fun and quirky experience. The counter service ordering allows customers to pick everything from specific breads and meats to toppings, ensuring everyone’s satisfaction.
Customers receive name cards with the names of celebrities or fictional characters after ordering. Luke Skywalker, The Rock, Ferris Bueller and Gwen Stefani are just a few of the many names offered. The quirky system makes the restaurant known and sets it apart from others.
The unique restaurant provides “twisted” versions of soft drinks. Twisted coke is one of the most popular flavors. It’s similar to the original, but with a sweeter kick. Famous for their shakes, the Oreo cookie pieces flavor doesn’t disappoint with its rich and creamy flavor.
