HteaO opened its first Lewisville location on Feb. 16 on Round Grove Road. The to-go tea spot has become quite popular within its first weeks of being open. They feature more than 25 flavors of tea, offering each in a sweet and unsweetened variation, while also serving coffee.
The inside of HteaO seems like a high-end convenience store. All teas are self-served, allowing you to pick whichever tea that meets your cravings. There are multiple snacks for you to choose from, as well as Yeti tumblers and HteaO merchandise such as shirts and cups. You then can go to the front to order a morning boost of coffee or just pay for your thirst-quenching tea and other items.
The iced tea-focused franchise is nothing short of delicious. Of their flavors, HteaO features fan-favorites including Georgia peach, watermelon and coconut. If you’re not a big fan of the fruit taste, they have other options including regular, mint and green teas.
The flavored teas have a broad, but not overpowering, fruity flavor. The flavoring in the tea doesn’t take away from the fact that the tea is the star of the show. Depending on the flavor you get, some are more intense than others.
As the saying goes, everything’s bigger in Texas. The smallest size HteaO offers is 24 ounces and goes all the way up to 51 ounces. They offer gallon sizes of your favorite teas as well. No need to worry about breaking the bank when you want a high-quality drink as HteaO’s prices are well within reason. Three small teas are $8.37, but if you order during happy hour, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., the price nearly halves.
HteaO did not disappoint whatsoever. The great prices, convenience and diverse flavors provide a quick and refreshing beverage to make your day. Overall, it deserves a 10 out of 10 stars.
