Right before dinner in San Antonio, Yulyana Clemente and I stopped at a street vendor selling lots of knickknacks. She just had to buy the one on the bottom right for her mother, and carrying this around the city made us freak out many people. It also caused a memorable moment in the hotel room that included screaming and a mirror.

About the Contributors

Maritza Quintero, Photographer
Maritza Quintero has always been passionate in everything she does, as long as it interests her. Her passions include reading, sharing her adventures, traveling and drinking coffee (which most, including Ms. Boyle, call an addiction, but she denies profoundly). It’s no surprise that she would also put as much passion and effort into photography when she discovered her love for it. Being encouraged by Mr. Hale, she joined newspaper as a photographer and now plans on attending A&M Commerce to study photography. With bright hope for the future, she attends her senior year with her quest for new experiences.

Jayden Warren, Editor-in-Chief
“The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud.” – Coco Chanel. This year senior Jayden Warren plans to turn the school upside down. Whether it be by her bold fashion choices or her innate ability to stand up for what she believes in, she will not back down. For anyone.
