Everything you need to know 

National Assistant Principal Week celebrates the dedicated faculty in our education system. This week highlights the significance of our assistant principals (APs) and their role in the overall academic success of our students.

Monday, April 1

No school- Bad weather day

Tuesday, April 2

Black Student Union meets in the PLR. A meeting will be held at 7:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. 

Varsity girls golf plays away at Bear Creek at 1-9 p.m. in the district meet. 

Baseball competes at Flower Mound against the Jaguars. Junior varsity plays at 4-6 p.m., and varsity plays at 7-9 p.m.

Softball plays at Killough against Coppell. Junior varsity competes at 5:30-6:30 p.m., and varsity competes at 7:15-9:15 p.m.

Wednesday, April 3

Paraprofessional Appreciation Day celebrates important members to a school’s staff. These professionals provide support to different fields. In the educational setting, they bring support to instructors and teachers by helping to assist them in their classrooms.

MacBook Refresh begins today for teachers from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the PLR and will continue for the rest of the week.

Class of ’25 Assembly for the incoming seniors is from 6:30-8 p.m. in the auditorium. 

Thursday, April 4

Catholic Club meets in the PLR. The meeting will be held at 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. 

JV 1 boys tennis competes against Duncanville. The tournament will be away at Duncanville from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday, April 5

Interact’s pie throw will be held outside the cafeteria doors during all lunches. One pie is $3 and two pies are $5.

Baseball competes at home against Flower Mound. Junior varsity plays at 4-6 p.m. and varsity plays at 7-9 p.m.

Softball plays away at Plano West against the Wolves. Junior varsity plays at 5:30-6:30 p.m. and varsity at 7:15-9:15 p.m.

General Announcements 

The cost for senior picnic is $35 if paid by Friday, April 5 and $40 from Monday, April 8 to Friday, May 10. The first 600 seniors to sign up will receive a free senior T-shirt.
