She’s quiet and collected on the surface but her blunt personality shines through when needed. She will start the journey of transitioning from high school to college with pride.

"It feels good to be recognized," most dependable superlative winner Emma Arthurs said. "I like being a part of any group because you get to have a sense of community. I really like Circle of Friends because everyone gets to have a friend."

"I feel honored, it means a lot," most musical superlative winner Kelvin Jaimes said. "Herman Cornejo [inspires me]. He is a role model to me since he spreads positivity everywhere."

"I’ll miss just being a kid, being young," most dependable superlative winner Nick Long said. "I enjoy being a part of [StuCo] because it keeps me involved and active in my school."

"I joined StuCo because I like to hang out with friends and it’s like one big happy family," most school spirited Ryan Garcia said. "Saying goodbye to my friends back [from] elementary school [will be hard]."

"I just want to say I’m grateful for winning this award," most athletic superlative winner Hector Calderon said. "I was nominated by my teacher and she believed in me."

"I think it helps me grow more as a person," most dramatic superlative winner Galilea Gonzalez said. "From StuCo, I learn a lot. I learn how to do more things for school and how to be more involved and mentor little kids."

"My mom [inspires me]," best dressed superlative winner Natalie Martinez said. "She’s super hard working and just always puts everybody else before herself. She’s a great person to look up to."

"I feel good because I always try to dress [well]," best dressed superlative winner Eric Pacheco said. "[My advice is] to be yourself."

"It’s really nice to be recognized as this because there’s a lot of good athletes at this school," most athletic superlative winner Emerson Coburn said. "Enjoy [your senior year] because it goes by so fast, you have no idea."

"It’s something that does kind of guarantee, in a way, a bright future and a lot of motivation for me to do better," most likely to succeed superlative winner Semi Ojerinde said. "My mom inspires me the most because she’s done so much as a person."

"I was really surprised because I’ve never really been into running for things like that so I was not expecting [winning]," most school spirited superlative winner Maideny Montalvo said. "My advice [to seniors] would be just participate in school because it makes things so much fun and try to keep up with your work."

"I was pretty excited because I love art," most creative superlative winner Madeline Lemus said. "That’s one of my hobbies I’ve had since I was little that I’ve always stuck with."

"[My advice for seniors is] do everything early, as soon as you can," most humorous superlative winner Braylon Payne said.

"I think it’s an honor because the whole student body voted," most humorous superlative winner Trinity Ijoma said. "For them to vote me as most humorous, it let’s me know I’m a funny person even when I try not to be."

"Honestly I’m a little surprised because I didn’t think I was going to win," most likely to succeed superlative winner Jonathan Vasquez said. "I didn’t think I was that popular but I ended up winning so I’m proud."

"I like being a part of [organizations] because I can give back to the community," senior class favorite Tito Calixto said. "It feels really nice getting support from all the people in school, especially the Hispanic community."

"[I’m in] football, track and StuCo," most handsome superlative winner Julius Campbell said. "They really engage me and I get the full high school experience."

"I do want to major in sociology and help those in need and create organizations and Student Council helps me plan for those," junior class favorite Ketia Ifulu said. "[As well], dance is my peace, my calmness. I do want to build my dance studio for those who need it."

"It feels good, it feels nice to know that people know who you are and that they like you and they enjoy [you]," junior class favorite Miguel Herrera said. "I like helping people and I like being in AVID because it helps me with my future."

"It’s a way to put myself out there, make new friends and stay active and involved," most creative superlative winner Braylen Grandison said. "[I will miss] the friendships I’ve made throughout these four years."

"My sister [inspires me], I saw her go through a lot of hardships throughout high school so she’s inspired me to be the person she needed," Miss LHS and most likeable superlative winner Kayla Rios said. "It makes me feel proud [and] like I’ve accomplished something without like having a goal to accomplish."

"I’ve always tried my hardest [to] put forth my best effort to be a leader," Mr. LHS and most likeable superlative winner Luke Halter said. "I’m not going to be able to walk down the hallways and say ‘Hi’ to everybody I know when I go off to college. I think that’ll be really hard because I’m a very extroverted type person."

"It feels really good that people think I deserve to be able to win senior class favorite," senior class favorite Brooke Tillman said. "I’ll miss being able to see people I have grown up with. I’ll miss my friends and getting the chance to see them every day."

"I will miss all the opportunities here," most musical superlative winner Jenny Sung said. "I felt very proud for everything I’ve accomplished. This is huge for me."

"It's pretty fun because I say I’m the most dramatic myself," most dramatic superlative winner Devante Hill said. "Everyone I know has called me [that] so I think it’s a perfect fit for me."
