For the football seniors, tonight’s game against Plano is their last in maroon and white

Tonight is senior night and we caught up with four senior football players who gave us their thoughts on this season and tonight. 

Oscar Mendez, #64 Strong Guard

What was your best memory of Farmer football?

“My best memory of Farmer football was beating Hebron because it was the first time we’d ever beat them in school history [and] that was just amazing.”

What will you miss the most?

“Being with my fellow seniors and teammates. It’s kind of hard.”

James Walker, #89 Wide Receiver

Senior Shout-out 

“I thank my parents James and Susan Walker, my stepmom Jen Walker, my girlfriend Kaitlyn Nauenburg and my friend Emily Gesino for supporting me this season.”

What was your best memory of Farmer football?

“My best Farmer football memories are our bus rides home and being in the training room.”

What are you looking forward to with the final game tonight?

“At the end of the day I’m looking forward to having a lot of fun and play the sport that I love. I will miss playing with my teammates on Friday nights.”

“I got a shoutout to Madalene Hernandez. She’s supported me a lot throughout my football season.”

What was your best memory of Farmer football?

“My best memory of of Farmer football was coming back and beating Plano East. I will miss having fun in practice, the games, pep rallies and the coaches.”

“Tonight I’m looking forward to a win.”
